In 2017, I was a student who needed to find a way to meet my school expenses and other personal needs. I knew that I had to overcome my long-term fear of learning a skill. This is when I came across the JDF skills’ center Fashion house and that became my turning point. I recommend JDF skill acquisition center to anyone who wants to learn a skill
With the economic situation of Nigeria getting worse, I knew that I needed to find a way to learn new skills to become financially independent. When I found out about the JDF Skill Academy, it gave me more than I could ever have asked for. In one year, I learnt fashion design and catering.
The first day I stepped into the premises of the JIREH DOO FOUNDATION Skills Academy in 2016, I just knew that the place has a lot to offer to me of which I can boldly say I was Right. I learnt fashion and design for both male and female, bag making and interiors -troy pillows, bedsheets, and duvet; all in a year.
I joined JDFSA in 2020 as a student who needs to see herself through school. I learned fashion Design for one year and this skill has helped me to be self-dependent and industrious as a student. With this skill I've been able to do make some things for people and for myself and that has helped me so much through my stay there.
