BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Jireh Doo Foundation (JDF) is a National Non-government organization with over 19 years’ existence and
actively intervening in the humanitarian response in the Northeast and other parts of the country since
2003. JDF works in the following thematic areas:
• Improved response to the humanitarian needs of vulnerable people.
• Improved gender equality and livelihood support for persons at the community level of young
persons, men and women.
• Promotion of prevention and treatment in HIV and other health disease burden (Malaria, TB and
Diarrhea).
• Promotion of protection programs for children and youth in Communities that encourages child
development and Adolescent empowerment.
• Promoting good governance and policies.
• Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability learning and sharing of information on protection, livelihood
support accessible through knowledge and information management.
Jireh Doo Foundation is seeking candidates with a minimum of HND/OND and relevant work experience in the above-named job role.

Job role

• Assess and validate the list of targeted and non-targeted households independently.
• Identify and correct inclusion/exclusion errors.
• Identify intended beneficiaries using the target criteria of various communities.
• Support in identification and registration of beneficiaries in WFP’s general food assistance project.
• Work closely with CFM assistants.
• Submit weekly, monthly, and biannual reports.

Qualification and Experience

• BSc/HND/ND in Management, social Research and development studies or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Transparency and accountability
• Previous experience of working with NGOs
• Experience in implementation of Target verification/census
• Ethical, focused on treating complainants/community fairly and culturally sensitive.
• Excellent communication skills and experience both spoken and written. Proficiency in English and
Hausa, and other local languages.
