Mbaagir Community is located in Buruku L.G.A of Benue State and the closest school to it is about eight (8) kilometers. Most of the children who are of school age are not enrolled in school and only a few attend distance schools. Most of them, particularly the orphans and vulnerable ones cannot afford or access school.

In the light of the above, there was advocacy by Jireh Doo Foundation to the community on the need to have a school within and the gatekeepers’ response was favorable. They donated land and the first classroom block which Jireh Doo Foundation supported to roof.

This was the starting point. A total number of 52 pupils were enrolled at the start, and at the moment, we have 345 pupils and 8 teachers. JDF built an additional block still under construction.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
